Here we go again with another poorly written "blog", incase you haven't noticed, I only do this when I am bored. Here are some updates!
F2L February: F2L, First two Layers, the solving of the first two layers of a Rubik's Cube. In which the entire month is dedicated to doing it faster! It is working out pretty well for me, I have improved my look ahead and am getting F2L in about 8 seconds! Weather: It's Indiana, I won't even try. Code: The A.I., in which I am still working on it, I have decided to use it for a tech project in my tech class. Readings: To whom ever reads this, read Cracking the Cube, by Ian Scheffler, it is the best book I have ever read. It is full of information, that as a cuber myself, I didn't even know. Closings: This blog post is ending, and is extremely disorganized, I don't know how to properly write a blog. Bye!

Since school started I have not had time to work on this massive project of a company, I much as I love this company, it is hard to keep going. I hope I am writing a future, I want to be able to say that I started small, then went big, I have faith that I will be able to help others with this company, I hope that it can bring others laughter, or just make people happy in general. I would work on this a lot more but school is hard. XD I don't have much this time, stay tuned for the next!
Do you ever have the moments where you don't feel like working on anything you should? I am going through that. I should really be working on the R.O.S.E but I can't pull my self to do it. It is kinda like writers block, but more like coders block. Anyway...
*Random Topic Read at your own risk* I really like posting when I am in the mood. I typically am not in the mood, but the second I pull up the site and see the mess I have made (JK, I love this company.) It makes me want to actually work. This is the longest running project I have ever committed to. Typically I say I am going to build something from scratch, then give a month later. This company has been going on for about 2 years now. It is great! Hopefully the sight gets bigger (on the inside... Hehe, I give up.). *TOPIC=NEW OR RANDOM* I guess it wouldn't be a blog post with out a nerd moment. I have officially rode my unicycle in one trip about half a mile which would be a new personal best for distance on unicycle for me. It was painful, a unicycle isn't the most comfortable ride. I have also been learning new algs for the Rubik's Cube, I am going to try and learn full PLL (Permutate Last Layer), which is the last layer set of algs to solve the cube. I really want to get a sub 10 second solve before my year long challenge ends. I am close with a time of 11.16 seconds. I think my next year long challenge will probably be a Ukulele. If it is, I will need to buy a shirt that says "Kick Me" on the back of it. *Conclusion* I have been writing for a while now, this concludes this post, have a lovely when ever you are reading this! Back at it again with the random posts. Hello random reader who has unfortunately stumbled across this website.
*Random Skip to New Topic* I have broken records!!!! I have officially got a sub-20 second solve with a new PB at 19.69 seconds. That is kinda fast, but not as fast as I would lie, I'm looking at you Lucas Etter... I am really happy about this new record and cannot wait to beat it again, hopefully by more than .2 seconds though. ordered my mega minx and should have it by today. I will probably post a review on it tomorrow. HEY!!! That's a good idea, a page to add to this, a cube review tab! Probably not original, but who cares. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ * Another Skip* School is almost out and I cannot wait until the summer, where I can sleep in and ride bikes, and go to camp, and code and create list of stuff I am likely not going to do! The only bad thing about summer break, the thought of going back to school. Summer break isn't really summer at all, it is just a break that you get, just like thanksgiving or Christmas. But hey! 3 months out of school, I am not going to complain. *Skipping Intensifies* I am trying to make an even better website and will probably not be using weebly, I want to try and get a site that i can code in html and css. I think I have found a good candidate at Nitrous.io I received an email about free hosting and custom domains. That will be the 3rd iteration of the Sandwich Industries Site. *Running out skipping memes....* We are just about to start a new game, the other ones we scrapped due to them being, how do I say this.... Not professional. Maybe we will have 2 games. I am thinking of a stupid fun game, and a professional game. O think the stupid fun game will be about 2 schools fighting of a lawn mower. Kinda Montague and Capulet style. (Random Shakespeare Reference) The professional game will probably be one more about us and called Narcissist. You know, because about us. hehehe, That was a joke, I hope it was funny. *Closing Skip* I think that is all I have to talk about today, with this very long post. No one will red this, and frankly, I kinda don't really care. This is more of a random thing I do. Bye! Oh gosh, it has been a long time. I am back with another blog post that all of 4 people will ever read. I am just going to talk about a bit of cube stuff today, so if you don't care, don't read. I have beat my personal best about 5 times since last post. I am currently at 21 seconds. I keep beating my best when I never feel like I will. It just comes out of nowhere. It always happens the same, I solve the cross on the white side in 2 seconds, I solve the first two layers in about 12 seconds, I solve the top side in about 5 seconds, then I end up having 3 really long algorithms for orientate the corners and edges of the top side. I should really learn the final PLL algorithms. That's all I have for today.
Sandwich Industries is currently going through a lot of changes and we hope to make the site more user friendly and more professional. Most changes are things like color schemes and adding new styles for the site to look better.
Okay, now on to some cube stuff. I recently got a Cyclone Boys 2x2 cube, it is a lot better than people said. The cube was pretty cheap on amazon and lived up to my expectations. I have an AoLong v2 in the mail, and should be here any minute. The AoLong, I am expecting, will be y new main and will subtract many seconds off my personal best. Not much of a blog post, but it works for now. That's all for now. Sandwich Industries might not be the biggest company out there, okay, by far not the biggest, but still, We strive to be successful. I, Matthew Dieckmann, am soon entering in a coding competition. I have no idea what I need to code, but I do know the ins and outs of the language I am going to use. I think the best part about the competition is that there is free food, drinks, and you get a t-shirt! Who doesn't like t-shirts?
I have been doing a lot more with my cube collection lately. I have finaly taught my self to solve a 5x5 cube, and my 4x4 is the same. Recently a new robot has been created to solve the cube record breaking fast. It can solve a fully scrambled cube in just over a second. The current world record for human solve is held by a 14 year old named Lucas Etter. He holds the world record single with remarkable time of 4.904 seconds! I will continue to post, and still have no schedule, and likely will never have a schedule! Bye! I have decided to do weekly updates with Rubik's Cube Stuff, the state of Sandwich Industries and other stuff. To start off, I work at here. This is a company that started in 7th grade, as a joke. I thought it would be a good idea, and use this site a lot for business classes and other digital classes. It is kinda like those projects were you have to create your own company. Well, I already own a company. I just use this company as the project!
